» Back to sale list

This tract was previously owned and managed by Union Camp Corp. and as the old saying goes “they don’t get much better than this”

This property is located at the crossroads of Southeast Virginia at the Sussex Courthouse area located just north of the courthouse and Route 40 on Robertson Road. The location of the tract is such that it can easily be reached from east via Routes 40, 460 and 35 as well as from the west via the same routes and Interstate 95.

This property is situated amongst and adjacent to large farms and other timber ownerships. The acreage is both rural as well as convenient.

For loblolly pine production, the property is as productive as one will find. Virtually 100% of the tract supports 21 year old loblolly pines (except for approximately 3 acres that comprises the interior road) that were established in an abandoned agricultural field.

The timber is fully stocked with quality trees that are ready for their first thinning. Attached is a cruise of the timber that was recently conducted.
